Our Story
How do you build wealth as an African American who has been locked out of wealth-building opportunities in the United States? It starts by acknowledging the intentional and enduring effect of 400-plus years of oppression.
Why we do what we do.
We must address the wealth gap with deliberate and systematic efforts, similar to how government policies have contributed to its creation. According to “The Road to Zero Wealth Report”, it would take 228 years for the average Black family to reach the wealth level of white families today.
This is where the Achieve Financial Empowerment Program steps in. Each partner organization will create financial empowerment opportunities to unlock capital and stimulate investment in communities of color.
